The end of the winter semester means two things for The South End: finals and Community Arts. For several years, our final issue of the term (available now on newsstands)includes a special section dedicated to artists and their creations in and around Wayne State.

The 2011 iteration gives its readers a substantial taste of what fellow students, teachers and colleagues have accomplished in several different areas of art. From wire car sculpting, to communal land beautification and to community-favorite Heidleberg Project, the talent of Detroit is consistently apparent..

To view each story, look for the "Community Arts 2011" tab under the Arts & Entertainment section.
