For those who have not heard, the Wayne State Warriors football team has made the national quarterfinals. And for those who've yet to see the Warriors play (too many of you), now is the time.
The Dean of Students Office and Wayne State are hosting a viewing party at the Student Center on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
With plans of rolling in a huge-screen TV, this will be the best way of watching the 10-3 Warriors, short of traveling on the Fan Bus. (First rule of Fan Bus: Don't talk about Fan Bus).
Food, games (including squares!) and prizes are also scheduled for those who attend.
After a 94-year absence from the postseason, WSU has made the most of its first playoff berth. Since beating St. Cloud State and No. 4 Nebraska-Kearney in the first two rounds, the Warriors now face the defending Division II champs, Minnesota-Duluth.
For those who don't go, be sure to open your Internet browser to The South End for up-to-the-minute scores and updates.
