The Wayne State women's basketball team lost a nail-biter on Feb. 4 at Matthaei, falling 71-67 to the Ferris State Bulldogs. The Warriors were led by #3 Nastassja Chambers, who picked up 19 points with five steals. The Warriors were 10 for 29 from behind the arc, collecting their fourth game of the season with double-digit three pointers. The Warriors fell to 7-16 overall and 4-12 in conference play.

The men's team also took a loss to the Bulldogs, 82-65, in the second game of Saturday's double-header. Junior Chuck Key finished with two blocks with a game-high of 22 points while Michael Lewis added 11. The Warriors fell to 12-8 overall and 9-7 in conference play.
