Crowds gathered on April 3 to celebrate the unveiling of the Fisher Halfpipe. Curated by Everard Findlay, this monolithic mass has been placed in the middle of the Fisher's main arcade and is intended to represent Findlay's idea of the commons and show the way sports like skateboarding transcend things like race, gender, class and culture.

Attendees can now see pro skaters, BMX and bladers from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. daily until April 6.
