Last Friday night, Wayne State's Bangladeshi Student Association (BSA) held a party to celebrate International Mother Language Day. The holiday is held every February 21, and its purpose is to celebrate and bring awareness of diversity of languages. The date is in recognition of the anniversary of protests of the Bengali Language Movement that took place February 21, 1952.
